On May 29, 2017 the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force arrested James M. Wright of Eldon for possession of Methamphetamine. The Miller County Prosecutor Benjamin Winfrey charged the defendant with Trafficking in the 2nd degree which is class C felony and Delivery of a controlled substance which is also a class C felony. Bond was set $200,000 cash or surety along with a parole violation no bond warrant. The defendant is a prior and persistent offender and was just released from prison on May 22nd 2017. There was a large amount of methamphetamine seized at the time of arrest with an estimated street value of $4200.00
