On 09/12/2017 deputies responded to a complaint of child molestation. The victim reported that Edgar Bilyeu 70, had sexual contact with her at an address in Kaiser, at an undisclosed date and time. After further investigation by Detectives, Bilyeu was interviewed and later arrested. Bilyeu admitted to having sexual contact with the victim. Bilyeu was convicted of sexual abuse of a 10 year old in 1990 in Camden County, Missouri, and is a registered sex offender. Bilyeu has been charged with two counts of Sodomy 1st Degree and Child Molestation 1st Degree, and is currently being held on a $200,000 bond in the Miller County Adult Detention Center. The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Miller County Children’s Division and Kids Harbor.
