How do I renew my concealed carry permit?

Concealed Carry permits can be renewed in the Sheriff's Office, Monday - Friday form 8am - 4:00pm. This office is closed on weekends and all State and Federal holidays.

 

How do I report a crime or incident to the Sheriff's Office?

If it is an emergency, Dial 911! If it is not an emergency call 573-369-2341 and the dispatcher will then connect you with the appropriate department or deputy.

 

How do I find out if I have a warrant?

If you think you have a warrant for your arrest, you can verify that by coming to the Miller County Sheriff's Office located at 1999 Hwy 52 in Tuscumbia with a valid ID. The Sheriff's Office does not verify warrants over the phone; you must show up in person.

 

How do I obtain a restraining order?

In the State of Missouri restraining orders are obtained by working with your Circuit Clerks Office Monday through Friday 8am to 4pm and in emergency situations contact the Sheriff's Office for help. Once the restraining order is in place the Sheriff's Office can enforce it.

Miller County does not have an animal control or vicious dog ordinance.

We welcome donations. You can make a general donation and leave it up to the Sheriff where to use the money, or you can specify how you would like the money is to be used. We have many areas that people have helped us with financially. Just this year we have received funds for:
