06/06/2018

During the early morning hours of 06/05/2018 the Miller County Sheriff’s office along with the Mid-Missouri Drug Task Force was notified of suspected drug transactions taking place at the El-rancho truck stop outside of Eldon. The sheriff’s office has received multiple complaints in the past about suspected drug dealing at the truck stop. Officers responded to the location and made contact with the driver of an out of state vehicle that was parked in a parking space. The driver was identified as Michael Regehr. During the investigation the officer attempted to arrest Michael Regehr for suspected drug possession and Mr. Regehr resisted arrest and fled the scene. The passenger in the vehicle was identified as Rebecca Vize and was taken into custody after officers found suspected methamphetamine in her possession. Rebecca Vize is being held on a $25,000 bond and has been charged with a class D felony of possession of controlled substance. Michael Regehr has been charged with a class D felony count of possession of controlled substance and 1 class E felony count of resisting/interfering with an arrest. Michael Regehr is not in custody and information on his whereabouts should be directed to the Miller County Sheriff’s Office.
