Five arrested after drug investigation

Miller County Sheriff, Louie Gregoire reports that after completing a several month long investigation, his office and the Mid-Missouri Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Task Force has made five drug arrests between August 31, 2017 and September 01, 2017.

During the investigations Deputies and Task Force Officers located and seized methamphetamine, marijuana, prescription medications, and firearms. The following people are those who were arrested. More charges and arrests are to be expected.

Ruth Allen charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $100,000 cash or surety bond, Christine Cusanelli is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $25,000 cash or surety bond, Carmen Martinez is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and is being held on a $50,000 cash or surety bond, Timothy Nicholas is charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful use of a Weapon and has posted a $35,000 surety bond, and Julio Diaz-Balderas was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and has posted a $25,000 surety bond.

Sheriff Gregoire says these charges are only allegations and all those arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. However, Sheriff Gregoire appreciates all tips and concerns his office receives and would like to encourage the Citizens of Miller County to contact the Sheriff’s Office if they suspect criminal or suspicious activity at 573-369-2341.
